Webquest 2

I like this little cheetah because it looks like my cat when it was a pup. I like the colors of the skin, the fur is like cotton. That's why I like this picture.

I think this picture is cool. The bear is looking at the cam like saying "what's up bro? hahaha. When I see things like that in the nature, I usually think that they really have emotion and a unique personality.

A.- Here I put a video of the pistol shrimp a little and curious animal. It has the ability to shoot a bubble bullet that stuns their prey. It's a very unusual kind of hunt, but is the most proof of the human tools and weapons. All kinds of tools and weapons were done by  nature thousands of years ago. Really impressive

B.- Here I put another video of a shrimp, the mantis shrimp. It's vision is very accurate, has the skill to see in infrared and ultraviolet. But that's  not the principal atribute of this animal, it also can punch with a tremendous strenght, it's punch has a force like a .22 caliber bullet, with that force it easily breaks glass, but most important, the shell of a crab.

C.- I thik that is very interesting to take a look of the other kind of crab and shimps, they have unusual qualities that easily can surprise anyone who see them.

Why do I want to be a Vet?

As a child I’ve though so many times that in my future life, someday, will be a vet.  After finishing my high school, I’ve decided to enter college in the odontology school of Universidad Mayor. I’ve stayed there for a couple of years to later ensure myself that, odontology, wasn’t the career that I wanted, so I quit.

This year I started my studies in the vet school of Universidad de Chile, I’m very happy, actually, I feel that this is what I have to do.

I dream about someday have my own clinic, to help animals; maybe help in some kind of animal politics like sterilization laws, careful keeping and other kind of things that make the life better for us and our pets.

My favorite Piece of Technology

The PC is my favorite piece of technology. It's a piece of metal, plastic, circuits and a lot of things that gave life to a beatiful machine.
I've got my first PC when I was 6, it was a COMPAQ, really old, today the screen still lives but we don't use it anymore. Now I got a notebook it's pretty good.

I use my computer for almost everything, download my favorite music, watch movies, documentaries, series, play a lot of games and more.

I use it really often, everyday I turn on my PC, sometimes for longer period, another only for a couple of minuts of hours.

I really like it beacause it helps me with a lot of information, entertaintment, as an alarm clock and well a thoundsand things more.

I think that life without computer and in fact internet will be very difficult. The PC is one of that beautiful things that make the live easier

Chow –Chow 95%

The chow is an Arctic-type dog, powerful, squarely built and sturdy with heavy bone and strong muscular development. It is a breed suited for a number of tasks, rather than specializing in one, and its build reflects its ability to hunt, herd, pull and protect. It can have either a rough coat, which is straight and off-standing or a smooth coat, which is hard and smooth; both coat types have wooly undercoats, providing ample insulation from the cold. The characteristic straight angulation of the hind legs produces a short, stilted gait unique to the breed. The scowling expression and black tongue are essential components of breed type. 

Dignified, even lordly, the chow chow conducts itself with reserve. It is not very demonstrative, even with its family, and is somewhat suspicious of strangers. It is independent and stubborn. It can be aggressive toward other dogs but is generally good with other household pets. It is serious and protective, devoted to its family.

TV Show 1 – My cat from Hell: It’s very good to know how to have cats, treat them and know their personality. Any animal has his particular psicology, we only have to understand them.

TV Show 2 – Infested!: I think it’s cool to see how many disaster or diseases could carry some animals or pets and how to prevent them.

What's my opinion?

What's your opinion about killing stray dogs?

I think that is the worst kind of popullation control. I believe that we can't kill animals without reason, is always a better option try to esterelizate them and do adoption campaingns for the homeless dogs.

What's your opinion about legalizing marijuana?

I think it should be legalized because it's not an agressive drug comparing it's effects woth other lesser drugs like alcohol and tobaco. Almost all vehicle accidents and violence in the streets or things like that are done by people under the effects of alcohol, so why did we don't legalize a drug that, till the day, I've never heard about a murderer or a car accident that involves a people under the effects of the marijuana.

What's your opinion about cloning?

Well, cloning it's a very complicated topic because start a discusion about what happen with the "clone" soul and another kind of moral problems, so it's very complicated to talk about something like that. I think that will be very helpfull talking about cloning organs or help for curing some diseases, etc.

What's your opinion about legalizing abortion in some cases?

I think it needs to be legalized as soon as posible, many women are dying because of some diseases that her babys are carrying, that will make a very dangerous birth for both the mom and the baby. In some cases the unbirth may not live after the birth so it's a torture make the mom wait for 9 month to have in her arms a dead baby, it's so cruel.

What's your opinion about same-sex marriage?

I don't see any problem in that. If 2 people of different sexes ove each other may marriage why 2 people of the same sex can't do it? I don't think we should judge the love of 2 people, because their sex orientation, tom me, it only shows ignorance.

The best metal band ever

My favorite band is Sabaton, a sweden band formed in Falun in 1999. The band's lyrics is mainly of war (WWI, WWII and all kind of conflicts over the world.) Their lyrics has a lot of historical facts and dates that Joakim Bröden, their singer, has composed in a very harmonius way.

The band has 7 studio albums, they are all good, but I think that the best are the first three of them (Fist for Fight, Primo Victoria, Atero Dominatus... well and also The Art of War)

The band used to be formed by 6 members (Bröden on vocals, Sürden and Montelius in Guitars, Sündstrom in bass, Mÿhr in keyboards and Mullback in drums) but the last year (2012) their line-up was changed by unspecified reasons, now, there are only Bröden and Sündstrom from the original members.

My favorite song is Into the Fire (the blog's name is inspired from that) it tell us a story about the vietnam war and the cruel use of napalm as a weapon.
